Primarily built for telephone exchanges where absolute quietness of operation was essential. It was also recommended for uses similar to the No.4. This model was standard with the Bell Telephone System.

Construction Features:

 Suction was produced by 4 revolving fans on the same shaft with the motor armature.The drum and separator were very large

  An outlet connection below the motor allowed the vaccum to be used as a blower.

 The aluminum end plate was hinged at the center, the upper half being easily dropped for the removal of the dust screen.
