Application As
exhausters, they were used to remove fibrous, abrasive
and other industrial dusts, and to exhaust process fumes.
As blowers, they furnished blast for forges, gas, oil
and pulverized fuel burners, and supplied air for cooling
transformers, motors, molds and other machinery. e Construction Four
wheels were available: general purpose, long shaving,
cast wool and steel plate wool. The cast iron housing
provided strength and protection against mildly corrosive
conditions. This fan is
one of the oldest products of the air handling industry. e Image
