Application
Designed primarily for ventilating manholes during repairs, these units were equally applicable for tanks and vats.

Construction
This was a self-contained, portable, gasoline engine driven fan for ventilation where electricity was not available. A Briggs & Stratton Model A gas engine was used. The entire unit was mounted on a rigid base which rested on four coil-spring legs to absorb vibration.
