Type A Forge

Application
Met all the requirements of a small or medium forge for heating, tempering or small smithwork.

Construction
The firepan was built of a double plate with asbestos between to prevent cracking. The sheet metal work was of heavy steel plate. The blower was driven with a handled operated crank. There were seven variations, mostly with round pans.
