1906. The ornamental cornice is clearly seen in this photo. To the far right is a flatbed train car carrying a large pressure blower (not seen) that was pulled out of the Bldg B shipping area. Along the granite base are the beginning shoots of ivy that would soon cover the building for the next 50 years. The evenly spaced out poles on the far left are hitching posts for horses. |
